Overview

Read the introduction, objectives and theoretical background to the project and then answer the following questions:

• What main theory or concept is the project based on?

The project is based on physics and mathematics.  These two subjects are taught in primary school , thus we will know parts of the topic.

• What do you already know about this theory or concept?

We already know a lot of information about physics and mathematics. About the fastest ball challenge, i know about the law of energy conservation which no energy can be created or destroyed. Also, that potential energy which in this case gravitational potential energy , is converted to kinetic energy, so the ball moves by its own when going down the 'slope'. 

For the extraction of caffeine experiment,  we already learnt about some of the separation techniques that is used in the experiment like the separating funnel to separating two liquids that has different desity and does not mix together.
